Welcome to Top Rock Stud 2000
I've been involved with Shetlands for over 30 years now.
My stud now consists of Black standard coloured and miniature shetlands and also a few Welsh Section A, C and D.
I drive a Section D stallion, Cooksgate Daniel and Heys Hill Golden Emperor, one of my shetland stallions. I am trying to breed ponies that look alike, so that I can try my skill at driving pairs, tandem or even four in hand, but looking after an ever increasing herd, I am finding very little time for driving.
I nearly always have stock for sale and look forward to visitors, but please ring first!
At the moment I am wondering whether there is anything else in life but mucking out, trimming feet, worming, grooming, delivering foals and turning them in and out to try to miss these rain showers!
My stud consists mainly of Shetlands, miniature and standard, and about twenty Welsh. My aim is to retain my own stock and to find new homes for my bought in foundation stock.
